How it started
Mike Terwilliger started Terwilliger Construction in January 1976 and built it from the ground up, one job at a time. Site work, septic systems, land clearing, grading: if it involved a machine and the ground, Mike did it.
He was known for being honest, above board and fair. Customers knew what they were getting and what it would cost, and the work was done right. That's what the Terwilliger name came to mean.

Bringing it back
Today Mike's sons are bringing Terwilliger Construction back, working out of Bristol, Connecticut. Same name, same family, same way of doing business. When you call, you talk to one of the Terwilliger brothers, not a call center.
How we work
- Straight answers. We tell you what the job needs, what it doesn't, and what it'll cost before we start.
- Our own equipment and crews. We don't wait on someone else's schedule.
- No job too small, no job too big. A single trench or a full commercial site.
- We clean up. Graded, raked and seeded where needed.
- Licensed and insured.
What we do
We handle commercial site work, residential site work, septic systems, land clearing, grading and drainage, and excavation across Connecticut.
